How breathing patterns influence movement, sleep and exercise performance

When athletes participate in physical activity, the presence of dysfunctional breathing can manifest as premature breathlessness, muscle fatigue, dysfunctional movement inevitably resulting in suboptimal performance. Dysfunctional breathing is not necessarily related to cardiovascular fitness.
